Kristen Briscoe: Guest Dance Instructor
Kristen began her dance training at the early age of five
studying ballet at the Anita-Jean Dance Theatre in Orange County. As a teen she placed in several talent
competitions including the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts
and Talent America. In 2008 she
graduated from Manhattanville College with a BA in Dance and Theatre where had
the privilege of studying with principle dancers, teachers and choreographers
from Alvin Ailey, New York City Ballet, Riverdance, and Pilobolus as well as
costume designer Liz Prince. She has
been teaching and choreographing for private studios and community projects in
and around the New York City area for seven years. She is a graduate student at Metropolitan
College of New York City and hopes to become an active participant in the
promotion of dance and theatre in the public school system when she receives
her degree in 2011.
